This is an art deco era saucer made by Susie Cooper in a pattern that is unknown to me - I could not find a similar example anywhere. It is stamped on its underside with Susie Cooper Crown Works Burslem England and hand numbered 682 H - this stamp was used between 1932 and 1956. There is no date code, but I have matching bread and butter plates that are coded for the year 1933. The saucer measures 5 7/8 in diameter with the usual micro crazing typical of Susie Cooper earthenware. Otherwise, no chips, cracks or wear. This is not a common piece - nice addition to a collection or just a very nice art deco display piece!
